Many Animal Jam parents and players have contacted us, asking for features that could help protect our players more from inappropriate behavior, like cheating and ”scamming." While our safe trading system is the very best way to swap your items with other Jammers, often times items are regretfully given away through our Jam-A-Gram system.
In order to continue offering the safest and most enjoyable play experience in Animal Jam for all Jammers, AJHQ has made gifting via Jam-A-Grams a feature for only members. Our hope is that this change will help reduce the number of players taking advantage of the innocence of our younger players.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you pupp, AJ thinks we nms are basically 5 years old cause we aren't allowed to get membership yet. Of course there are other nms who are older than 5 who just can't buy online or their parents cant afford for a reason, well AJ is kind of treating members like older people (some of members brag about money they got)and treating nms like kids. Its unfair too.

I believe that it is fair that non members can't receive gifts, because AJ needs to give members some advantages too, or players wouldn't want to buy membership. However, I agree that not being able to send gifts is completely unfair! I wish it was like before, in 2011-2012 (or something like that), when non members were allowed to send gifts to members who can receive them.
